At PesaBill, we collect information necessary to issue, customize, and transmit invoices. This includes account registration data (name, email, encrypted passwords, business profile defaults, categories, and logos) and financial parameters (merchant client listings, addresses, transaction sums, tax rates, and checkouts).

2. How We Use Data

All data is processed securely to maintain invoicing ledgers, compute outstanding receivables, send manual/automated notifications, and process simulated payment gates. We do not sell or lease user data to third-party marketing companies.

3. Data Sharing and Integrations

We share data strictly with transaction gateways (such as Stripe, Paystack, and PayPal) and communication engines (such as Resend) to fulfill invoice deliveries and payment settle flows.

4. Data Protection & Encryption

Your connection is fully protected via TLS/HTTPS protocols. User passwords are encrypted locally using cryptographic hashing engines (`bcryptjs`) before database writes. Financial checkout parameters are isolated from core systems via checkout gateways.

5. GDPR & International Compliance

We support your right to view, download, or permanently delete account databases. You can manage your business details from settings or contact support to erase your metadata from all clusters.
